  • Do I need insurance?

  • My cosigner and I have submitted a housing application, when will I receive my lease agreement?

If you are NEW to MIAD, you will be sent a lease after the Landlord has approved your application and you have made your MIAD tuition deposit. Leases are sent out to all tenants and cosigners via email for electronic signature. At the time that the lease is signed, it will be necessary to pay the $225 security deposit.

If you are RETURNING to MIAD, once your application has been approved, you and your cosigner will be sent a lease. At the time that the lease is signed, it will be necessary to pay a $225 deposit for your 2024/2025 lease. Security deposits may NOT be rolled over.

  • When is my rent due?

Rent due dates vary based upon your financial aid status.

    NOT RECEIVING FINANCIAL AID

Your rent for the first semester is due on the first of August.

    RECEIVING FINANCIAL AID

If you are receiving a financial aid refund check, MIAD will deduct your tuition and fees and the balance left will be disbursed  to you or to your parent, after which you must immediately pay your Two50Two rent. Please refer to the Deferment of Rent Agreement that is part of your lease.

  • How can I pay my rent?

There are several ways to make your rent payment.

    • Online via your tenant portal account using an e-check is the most efficient method. The link to the tenant portal is at the top of this page. When using the tenant portal, do NOT select any of the “Auto Pay” options when making your payment. Please contact talk@two50two with questions.
    • Credit card payments can also be made from your tenant portal account, however there are fees charged by a third-party processor for using this method.
    • Check or money  order made out to “252, LLC” can also be used. This check or money order can be mailed c/o General Capital Management 6938 N. Santa Monica Blvd, Fox Point, WI 53217 or hand delivered to the 252 Office. Cash is NOT an acceptable form of payment.

For more information on credit release  dates contact the MIAD Office of Student Accounts or the MIAD Financial Aid Office.

  • How do I find out how much I owe?

You will be notified by email when charges for the semester’s rent have been posted to your account.

You can also find out your balance due by logging into your tenant portal account. Paper statements will NOT be sent.

  • What if my financial aid doesn't cover my entire rent?
