Application Instructions

Please use the following information to assist you in completing the 252 Apartments online rental application. The ”APPLY NOW“ button below will take you to our secure online application.

ROOMMATE REQUESTS AND LIFESTYLE PREFERENCES
After completing your lease application, use the following link to complete the MIAD roommate questionnaire http://www.miad.edu/roommate

Tenant = The student living at 252 Apartments.
Cosigner = The individual that will be responsible for payment of rent if the tenant is unable to meet their obligation.

Tenant applicants and cosigner applicants will each complete their own application.
All tenants must have a cosigner. After both applications have been received, you will be contacted via email regarding your application status.

Please have information available before you begin the application as you MAY NOT save information and return to this site to complete the application process.

Tenant Application

Please be prepared with the following information.

  • Social Security Number
  • Driver’s licenses or other form of state issued photo identification in electronic format (PDF).
  • Contact information for the individual(s) whom you would like contacted in the case of an emergency

Tenant Question Instructions

You will be asked a “desired move in date”. Please enter 08/23/2017 as that will be the earliest possible date. Final dates in the lease will vary slightly based on new or returning student status.

Provide your current address only. A three year history, landlord information and references are NOT required.

In the application section titled “Housemates”, click CONTINUE as there are later questions regarding roommates and suite mates.

Pets are not allowed

In the application section titled “Personal Information”, if you do not have a driver’s license, enter the type of photo identification that you do have and be prepared to attach a copy of it at the end of the application. Please enter emergency contact information.
DO NOT CHECK THE BOX REGARDING VEHICLES.

In the application section titled “Your Income”, click CONTINUE. Information is not necessary.

In the application section titled “Questions”, answer "no" to questions that do not apply to your situation.

If you answer "yes" to the use of financial aid funds to pay rent and fees, you will be asked to complete the “Deferment of Rent and Fee Payment Agreement” at the time of lease signing. Availability of financial aid funds will be verified with the MIAD Financial Aid Office prior to application approval.
